pcAmerica Point of Sale Systems Add Flexibility and Portability with Citizen Printers
Congers, NY – pcAmerica (www.pcamerica.com), creators of Cash Register Express, Restaurant Pro Express Point of sale systems and Pocket Register Portable Point of Sale has extended its functionality to include Citizen’s line of products.
Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express has worked with the popular Citizen IDP-3535 printer since its creation in 1994. The IDP-3535 has been one of pcAmerica’s recommended printers with its versatile feature set which includes standard 3 inch paper and a fast 3 lines per second (at 40 columns). Cash Register Express and Restaurant Pro Express will print receipts, pop a cash drawer or send orders to the Citizen printer as a remote or kitchen printer for restaurants.
Pocket Register Portable Point of Sale is a Palm based application that allows the user to scan items onto an invoice and process orders on a portable handheld unit. At the end of the day, you can synchronize all the invoices with Cash Register Express at the touch of a button. With the Citizen CMP-10 portable thermal receipt printer, printing receipts on the portable POS system is a simple as pointing the palm at the printer. With its built in IrDA port and optional PalmPrint from Steven’s Creek Software, Pocket Register will print its receipts to the CMP-10 in seconds.
