Creating and Using In-Store Coupons 1) To create a coupon item, first you must add it into inventory. Press F2 or click on the Inventory button to go to Inventory Maintenance.  2) Assign a department to the coupon item, then give it a unique item number and item name to describe it. In the Price box, enter the amount of the coupon as a negative amount (Ex: -$10.00) and DO NOT choose any Tax rate. You should also give it an in stock quantity, then click the Save button.  3) To use the coupon, simply enter the item number when you are presented with the coupon. The amount that you entered in the price field will be subtracted from the total amount, and will appear as a line item on the invoice. |
