Setting Up Rental Items
1) To Begin Adding Rental Items, first you must add a rental department. To do this, click on Options, then Administrative then Department Maintenance. ![]() 2) In the Department Maintenance Screen, enter a Department ID and Description then choose Rental for the Department Type. After you have filled this out, click on the Save button. ![]() 3) After you add the department, you must add the rental Items. To do this, click on Inventory (F2 on the Invoice Screen) then Add New Inventory Items. 4) To add a rental item, double click on the rental department, that was created above, in the Department list menu. Then add an item number, item name and price. ![]() 5) Next, click on the Rental Info tab. You may enter the amount of days this item can be rented, an approval code, daily late charge, rating, and actor/actress name. You can also specify a different pricing structure dependant on how many days the item will be rented. ![]() |
